For some situations, the usual run of office applications (wordprocessor, spreadsheet etc.) are not the best solution. In such cases we may recommend developing a new application designed specifically to meet your needs.
Technical Information
Ascent develops for 32 bit Windows platforms (95,98) (and the Symbian (EPOC) operating system (used by Psion Revo handheld)). We use the C++ programming language, making use of the standard library, along with Microsoft's proprietary extensions (MFCs). Mostly, applications are written using the document/view architecture, sometimes dialog based.
